VMFL Playoff Update - All Divisions

This weekend will see teams in the Atom, PW and JB divisions compete for the VMFL championship and the right to represent the league at the BCCFA provincial championships on December 6.

Teams progressing to the next round of play are as follows:

VMFL ATOM DIVISION FINAL

Cloverdale Lions (1) vs North Surrey Lions (2)        
Cloverdale Athletic Park @ 9:30 a.m., Sunday, November 29

VMFL PEEWEE DIVISION FINAL

Coquitlam Wildcats (1) vs North Delta Longhorns (2)
Mackin Park @ 10 a.m., Sunday, November 29

VMFL JB DIVISION FINAL

Cloverdale Cougars (1) vs Coquitlam Raiders (2)
Cloverdale Athletic Park @ 11:30 a.m., Sunday, November 29

BCCFA 9-MAN BANTAM SEMI-FINALS

Final regular season games were played this past weekend. 

Salmon Arm Chargers and Westside Warriors finished the season tied for first, with identical 9 - 1 records.  Westside defeated Salmon Arm (28 - 20) on October 18, but Salmon Arm prevailed (33 - 7) in their earlier September 19 game.  Salmon Arm finishes first, based on better points for/against in head to head games.

Richmond Raiders and Mission Niners Iron Mountain finished the season tied for third, with identical 5 - 4 - 1 records.  The teams tied their first game (30 - 30) on September 13, but Mission won their second game (32 - 8) on September 19.  Mission finishes third, by virtue of their better record in head to head games.

McLeod Athletic Park @ 1 p.m., Saturday, November 28

BCCFA MIDGET SEMI-FINALS

Final regular season games were played this past weekend.

North Surrey Bears and Langley Stampeders finished the season tied for first, with identical 9 - 1 records. North Surrey defeated Langley (15 - 14) on September 27 and finishes first, based on better head to head record.

Chilliwick Giants and Victoria Spartans finished the season tied for third, with identical 7 - 3 records. Chilliwack defeated Victoria (31 - 14) on September 6 and finishes third, based on better head to head record.
