Football BC’s content team was out and about again over the weekend taking in three games over three days.
We began with a BC High School Football Senior AAA clash between the Notre Dame Jugglers and Belmont Bulldogs on Friday at Burnaby Lake Sports Complex West. After a tightly-contesting opening half, the Jugglers took full control in the second half en route to a convincing 35-7.

The next afternoon, the narrative was somewhat similar when the Vancouver College Fighting Irish played host to the New Westminster Hyacks. Both teams found the scoreboard early on and it looked like it would continue that way throughout the day.
The Hyacks appeared to be on their way to taking a lead into half-time but the Irish managed to score 14 points on rapid succession thanks to a late scoring drive coupled with a pick-six. The Hyacks couldn’t find their offensive rhythm in the second half allowing the Irish take the game by a final score of 49-21.
