Day Two of the 2015 Team BC May Camp was once again jam-packed but with not only two practices but plenty of off-field happenings as well.
Just like they did on Day One, the players were put through two practice sessions under the watchful gaze not only of their provincial coaches but a number of special guests as well.

Football BC welcomed a number of coaches from a number of BC Community and BC High School programs interested in seeing how things were run at a provincial level. These coaches joined the teams for their practice sessions during the day as well as for lunch.

The visiting CIS schools from across the province once again had their representatives keeping a close eye on the Team BC athletes while a couple of media superstars (at least we think so!) in Jim Mullin (Touchdown BC/Krown Countdown U) and @hellochiko were on site!

After all the practice sessions were concluded, the players listened to presentations from the University of Manitoba, Carleton University, the University of Waterloo, Queen’s University and the University of Western Ontario.
The U18s also had the opportunity to connect with the CIS school representatives on a more personal level during the Recruiting Session.

The big news of the day came near the end when the Football BC / BC Lions bursary winners were announced. Each bursary is in the amount of $1,000 but will require the player to continue working hard in football as it is contingent on successfully joining a post-secondary football program. Congratulations to the following players:

Damian McCauig-Jones (U16)
Trystin Waters (U18)
Parker Simson (U18)
Ryan von Ende (U18)
