Football BC partners with Football University and Game Ready

Football BC is excited about the growth of football in our province. Our provincial programs continue to grow FBU buttonas we achieve our continual goals of increasing the number of children and youth playing football and improve the quality of football being played. Our provincial identification camps have enabled us to involve every football playing community in the province.

In 2012, we are enthusiastic about working with Football University and Game Ready to further offer a special opportunity to players who are serious and committed to football. These organizations have and will continue to demonstrate a commitment to improve our game by being involved in several aspects of growth and serve.

Our relationship with Football University is based on common objectives including making players better by Game Ready logoimproving fundamentals. The camp they offer is a special football experience that brings the best in the football world to our back yard.

Football University will also be a part of our annual Football BC Provincial Conference held on the last weekend in May each year. Finally, they also provide us opportunities to compete in tournament they sponsor both nationally and internationally. We see our partnership with Football University as a great compliment to the great work already being done throughout the province to develop football.

Game Ready offers year-round support for football training and skill development. They are made up of local football stars from the NFL and CFL using their training expertise to give back to our football community. Game Ready will provide assistance at Football BC combines and with our “Play Football BC” campaign where we introduce the game to young, school-aged children.

As we continue to grow, partnerships such as these are necessary and essential to improve our quality of service. The capacity of Football University and Game Ready to improve players and coaches in the province will make us leaders in Canada.
