Day 3 of the 2014 Senior Bowl camp featured some very special visitors in the form of several BC Lions who joined the players for their afternoon practice.
Following the practice session, the Senior Bowl coaches announced the rosters for Saturday’s contest as well as the top practice players for the week.
The top practice players each received a BC Lions dri-fit workout shirt while all players at the camp received a BC Lions sideline hat all courtesy of the BC Lions.
Instead of splitting teams based on geography as in years past, this year the coaches held a private draft to select the teams. Denis Kelly (WJ Mouat Hawks) will lead one squad while Jerry Friesen (UBC Thunderbirds) will lead the other.
Senior Bowl camp continues on Friday with two more practice sessions before the players get set for Saturday’s game at McLeod Athletic Park in Langley. Kickoff for the game is at 11 am and admission is free.
