Ronnie Lott announced as keynote speaker for 2013 Orange Helmet Awards; Tickets available now

The BC Lions have announced that Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Ronnie Lott will be the keynote speaker at the 2013 Orange Helmet Awards Dinner.

Lott, a defensive back, played 14 seasons in the NFL from 1981 to 1994 for the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Raiders and New York Jets. A 10-time Pro Bowl selection and a four-time Super Bowl champion with the 49ers (1981, 1984, 1988, 1989), he was also a member of the NFL’s 75th Anniversary All-Time Team and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000.

His jersey #42 is also retired by the 49ers.

The 2013 Orange Helmet Awards Dinner, recognizing the 2012 Provincial Champions of amateur football in British Columbia, will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at The Westin Bayshore in Vancouver.

The Amateur Football rate is $200 per ticket or $2,000 for a table of 10. The Corporate rate is $250 per ticket or $2,500 for a table of 10. Taxes not included.
